Marketing + Operations Specialist – North Barrington, Illinois
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing + Operations Specialist to support our growing law firm’s branding, outreach, and daily operations. This hybrid role blends marketing savvy with administrative precision—perfect for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You’ll support both marketing initiatives (digital, print, social, and events) and administrative tasks (onboarding assistance, meeting coordination), working closely with the Marketing Manager and Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications
- Assist with strategy and execution of marketing initiatives across multiple office locations
- Manage and maintain content calendars for all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Create, proof, and update print and digital advertising materials (flyers, brochures, Google ads, social graphics)
- Coordinate website updates and basic maintenance/hosting in WordPress
- Develop, implement, and manage SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and site traffic; Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities
- Plan, execute, and optimize SEM campaigns to drive conversions and ROI; Monitor and report on website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs
- Stay current on industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging digital marketing strategies
- Track and maintain award submissions, online profiles, and digital listings
- Research and coordinate branded promotional item orders and inventory
- Support design and content creation for newsletters, handouts, email campaigns, and internal materials
- Plan and execute internal and external firm events (networking mixers, firm fundraisers, team outings, luncheons)
- Coordinate with outside vendors for promotional items, printing, signage, catering, and venue logistics
- Support attorneys and leadership in marketing-related sponsorships, speaking engagements, and conferences
Administrative Support
- Assist Director of Operations with general administrative and facility-related tasks
- Manage supply orders, mailing needs, and day-to-day office upkeep
- Maintain internal organizational documents, reports, and schedules
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, WordPress, SEO reporting tools, Google Analytics, GMB
