KH is seeking a well-rounded generalist with a strong foundation in real estate law and a desire to work across multiple practice areas, Illinois-licensed and resides in or near the northwest suburbs of Chicago—particularly within McHenry County—to join our growing team on a full-time basis. This is a client-facing position with the expectation of in-person client meetings and regular office presence.
Core responsibilities include:
Real Estate
- Representing buyers, sellers, developers, and lenders in residential and commercial transactions
- Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements
- Reviewing and clearing title
- Preparing and analyzing leases
- Managing due diligence and contract timelines
- Handling closings from start to finish
- (Bonus) Advising on zoning, land use, or permitting issues
General Practice
- Advising closely held businesses and entrepreneurs
- Drafting contracts, operating agreements, and related corporate documents
- Providing estate planning or probate counsel
- Supporting litigation or dispute resolution matters

Who We’re Looking For:

- A self-motivated, client-focused attorney with strong real estate experience, as well as, corporate law, estate planning, minor criminal litigation, or transactional matters is highly valued analysis
