Biography

Neil J. Anderson started his practice in Lake Zurich, primarily practicing in family law, criminal defense and real estate. He moved to Spring Grove in 1994. Over the last 39 years, he has developed a wide customer base in both Lake and McHenry Counties. Neil is currently focused on handling both residential and commercial real estate matters, business sales and purchases, as well as zoning changes. His business planning practice includes representation regarding the formation and operation of corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies, including ownership agreements, mergers and acquisitions. Notably, Neil has represented several local motorcycle and truck dealerships. He also assists clients with their estate planning and probate needs.

In addition to the practice of law, Neil is also a municipal hearing officer for the Village of Wonder Lake. In his spare time, Neil is a private pilot with a penchant for warbirds. The proud owner of several vintage aircraft, including a North American T-6, a trademark yellow Piper Cub and a Focke Wulf 149D, Neil enjoys sharing his love of the sport with others. He has been a member of EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) for many years, and was a Security Supervisor at the famed EAA Oshkosh Fly-In for multiple years. Neil has been married to his wife, Patty, for over 40 years, and they share two sons and 3 grandchildren.
